Pejeng is a village in Bali, located in Gianyar Regency. It is home to the Moon of Pejeng, the largest single-cast bronze kettle drum in the world and the largest known relic from Southeast Asia’s Bronze Age period. Pejeng is a rural area with extensive, and ancient, irrigated rice cultivation. The drum is 186.6 centimetres high and the diameter of the tympano is 160 centimetres. It is kept at Pura Penataran Sasih in Pejeng, in the Petanu River valley which, along with the adjacent Pakerisan River valley, forms the heartland of South Bali where complex irrigated rice culture first evolved on the island…

Excellent day trip. Our driver Ketut arrived at exactly 8 am and from the moment our tour began he could not have been more helpful. A very knowledgeable guide. He also made an additional stop at Pura Ulun Danu which was not in our initial itinerary. A thoroughly enjoyable tour which I would highly recommend.

My brother, boyfriend and I did the Ubud city tour and would definitely recommend it! We saw the monkey forest, artisan villages, the rice fields and more. Our guide Ketut was very friendly and funny and showed us the best places at the best times (no crowds at all) and even took us to a pretty restaurant for lunch. We are looking forward to booking with this company and with Ketut again!
